Hackney Pub Crawl is a collection of illustrations of 26 public house pillars of the Hackney Borough community, now printed individually using giclée on archival paper.
This illustration of The Spread Eagle has been created by Lilia Mannarini of Tour Design and is a limited edition print of only 50, all of which are individually signed, stamped and numbered.
The Spread Eagle, London’s first fully vegan pub based on Homerton High Street is a quintessentially British corner pub providing sustainability in everything they do. With an emphasis on minimal waste, all food, drink and fixtures are plant-based. The kitchen runs a seasonal menu working directly with foragers and local producers to replicate pub classics and British desserts with influences from all over the world. By providing a warm atmosphere to all guests, including families and dogs, this traditional pub aims to celebrate the best of modern culture and the diverse community surrounding it.
This print has been bespoke hand-drawn including signage. The final drawing then photographed and digitised before adding layered textures and colours in photoshop. The completed illustration has been compiled into a format measuring 29.7cm x 42cm. The final design is an A3 giclée fine art print of professional quality on archival 230gsm matte paper stock.
In view of COVID’s effect on the local community, 10% of Pub Scrawls’ Hackney Pub Crawl sales profits will be donated to Hackney Winter Night Shelter.
Hackney Winter Night Shelter is a Hackney Doorways project. Registered Charity number 1139183. Company number 07064774.
